Constitution and Code of Ethics

NADEOSA is a membership association governed by its constitution  that was adopted at the founding meeting and amended at the Council Meeting on 24th March 1997. The NADEOSA members form the Council. Organisations appoint one representative as the liaison person on NADEOSA activities. However, wider participation within organisations is encouraged. An Executive Committee is elected on an annual basis and it meets regularly to oversee the management of the association

NADEOSA has developed a code of ethics which member organisations are expected to uphold. This would ensure that organisations/individuals deriving status by advertising themselves as members of NADEOSA, would be expected to adhere to certain ethical standards. Although NADEOSA has no intention of serving as a watchdog for distance education, adherence by members to this code is a condition of membership.
